I had trouble with this deconstruction of design from the beginning on wordpress, if anyone has read a previous blog by me which in essence said “i wanna fuck wordpress up the arse with a crow bar”.

Anyways, that about trying to upload my images, and they seemed to have a glitch that day… cross fingers I can get this design explanation out smoothly.

We have a Muslim, a Christian and a Jew – all from Judiasm Christianity backgrounds. The three “exclusive” none inclusive religions, unlike those of the east of india and, I dunno, some other “spiritual” country, which makes me want to throw up only 50% as much…. Because…

Judiasm is EXCLUSIVE, it’s not a free religion. You are either a Christian and you must believe in JESUS – the ONE, or you are a Muslim and you must believe in MOHAMMAD, or you are a Jew and you are still waiting and scratching your scrotum. All of these religions are non pluralistic, as in, you believe in what human clergy/butfuckers/terrorists/waiters tell you to believe in and that is the only way to god.

These three Judiasm (all originated and were plagiarized by a small Jewish zealot like sect in Qumran, Palestine, pre BC) are really a crock of shit.

THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS AND THE CRISIS OF CHRISTIANITY

So I came across the idea of the Three Wise Monkeys, one blinded by site, another deaf the other muted, and it made me think of Judiasm big time. Three Monkeys, three idiots, three blind, deaf and dumb nobs, I loved the idea of creating this design.

I’m a designer not an illustrator. Often I call on my partner for help because they are trained artists. I come up with concept and direction.. usually find images on the internet to guide my other half, and let them illustrate what I am after. I am blessed to have an artistic partner, because I can hardly draw for shit.

So first draft lookin something like this:

I then take it into illustrator and vector the thing… realizing it looks one dimensional. I then color in parts on the sketch to give my other half the idea I am after… eventually we come up with three images.. 1 where I have done the shadows too dark, another where my partner has fixed the shadows, and finally mine again where I add the highlights, so it is a three layer, three gray scale layered upon each other in Photoshop.

I take it into Illustrator and vectorize it all in CS3 – a most savvy update to the lasted Illustrator program and vawhaaaaaalaaaaaaaaa (I can’t spell those magical adjectives) and we end up with:
